The following applies to on-campus workshops only

Payment of registration fees

Payment by cheque or credit card.

Full payment of the registration fees is due no later than 30 days after the workshop.

If you pay by cheque, make it payable to the Professional Training Service. Please write the invoice number on the back of your cheque.

Cancellations and deferrals

Cancellation and deferral requests must be submitted in writing to the Professional Training Service. Our e-mail address: sfp-pts@uottawa.ca

Cancellation is possible but certain conditions apply:

• When participants who cancel their registration 7 working days or more before the workshop begins, the registration fees are entirely refundable.
• Participants who cancel their registration 1 to 6 working days before the workshop begins are required to pay 50% of the registration fees.
• Once the workshop starts, full registration fees are charged and no refund is granted.

Deferral is possible but certain conditions apply:

• Participants request for deferral must be received, at the latest, at 16:00 one working day after the beginning of the workshop.
• No request for deferral will be considered after this deadline; registration fees will be fully charged and no reimbursement will be granted.

Participants who are unable to attend a workshop may send a substitute, but they must notify us of this change.

The Professional Training Service reserves the right to:

• cancel workshops due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances;
• replace its trainers due to unforeseen circumstances;
• change its cancellation and deferral policy and its workshop fees without notice.

Discounts

• A 10% discount is applicable when three or more persons from the same organization register together for the same workshop.
• A discount of 10% is also applicable when a person registers, at the same time, for four (4) workshops or more.
